The video and the lyrics were filmed in the corridors of the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. The song featured on the Exitos 2001: 50 Exitos in Mexico album. This was the first time Yturbe received a
major record deal.
The video for the song “Yo lo comprendo, Soy lo prohibido” has won the top award at the ‘Video De Oro’ (Golden Video) and been nominated for two Latin Grammy Awards.

Current activity
Yturbe’s first album, Escuela Pirula (The Class of Pirula), was released in May 2003. In 2006 she made her début at the Latin Grammy Awards in her homeland, performing the song “Yo lo comprendo, soy lo prohibido”.
In 2015 she recorded the theme songs for two series in Canal+ in Mexico, “Nada en Comun” and “Mujeres y hombres”.
